About MV Solitude One
Rebuilt from a 52-metre (171ft) steel-hulled merchant vessel, MV Solitude Onehas undergone a complete makeover from her original form to set new standards in hospitality and professionalism. With our clients in mind, the vessel was purpose-built to incorporate smart design, functionality and comforts close to home without going over the top. Every guest on board will be cared for by well-trained staff who address their guests by name, can anticipate individual needs, and appear only when needed, allowing them the privacy and exclusivity of a “home away from home.”
From the very beginning, safety has always been the most important aspect of Solitude and at the forefront of all decision making. Given the remote areas we operate in, it is vital to us that our crew are well trained and we are equipped to handle any scenario should it occur.
During your stay onboard we provide our guests with a complimentary Nautlius Marine Rescue GPS to provide that peace of mind when out diving in the remote parts of the Philippines and Palau.

The Heart & Soul of Solitude
It is no understatement that our crew are the most essential part of the whole of Solitude Liveaboards & Resorts. Our crew onboard Solitude One are typically all from the Philippines, with the exception of our Cruise Directors and some of our Dive Guides.
With some members of our crew have been with us since day one, and with others having once been guests onboard
It’s the crew that are the ones who have learnt to anticipate your needs before it even becomes as such. From the frequently seen to the unseen crew, all of them play an essential role to ensure that everything runs like a well-oiled engine and your trip is an experience you will always treasure. We continuously strive to improve collectively as a team by following our fundamental ethos of Safety, Communication and Comfort.
MV Solitude One features eleven (11) cabins, providing accommodation for a maximum capacity of 24 guests. Meticulously crafted with careful consideration, these cabins were conceptualised through a blend of experience, practicality, and feedback from guests, integrating essential elements from the hospitality world. The design process was driven by a deep understanding of the discerning divers’ needs and desires, resulting in tastefully designed and practical living spaces.
